We always seem to focus on women’s rings when it comes to weddings and engagements but what about the men ? I do not think we have touched upon men’s rings at all since we started blogging.
Men’s bridal jewelry is just as important and some times even more difficult than women’s. As men are usually rougher on their rings since they are more known to do manual labor than women, the ring must be strong enough to uphold the beating it may get. there are many metal options available that are stronger than gold, but they may not be as pretty.
There is stainless steel, tungsten carbide, sterling silver, titanium, cobalt and platinum. Rings are made in these metals as they are stronger than gold, and can “go through” more without breaking right away.
You can always opt to get two rings- one formal dressy ring, and one for work. This is not uncommon. A plain sterling band for work, and a fancy gold band with diamonds for going out.
Don’t forget about the men, they are just as important !!
